Depression and diabetes
Studies have shown that people with diabetes have a greater risk of depression than people without diabetes. Chronic and severe depression affects a person’s ability to achieve even simple daily tasks let alone find the energy to manage their diabetes. Worse yet, when blood glucose levels have been running high for a long period of time, it tends to worsen the depression

Recognizing signs of depression is the first step. Seeking help is the second.
