Youville Centre -  COVID-19 Update

The health, safety and well-being of our community members and staff is of utmost importance to all of us here at Youville Centre. As Covid-19 continues to impact the world, we want to update our community regularly on program
and service changes. Please visit our webpage frequently as recommendations from Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living (MHSAL), Shared Health, as well as the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) continue to evolve and we must adapt accordingly.

Currently, Youville Community Health Centre remains open with the following changes:

We are providing limited, essential services at this time. We ask that all visitors call before coming to Youville (204-255-4840) so we can discuss your health issue and how best to navigate your care.

Youville Centre Hours including our Ask-A-Nurse Program may vary from day to day due to the evolving situation. Please always call ahead to confirm before arriving at Youville Centre.

All visitors can expect to be screened for cold/flu symptoms and travel history when they arrive to ensure the health and safety of all.

We are asking that all community members who meet the following criteria refrain from coming to Youville Centre at this time and stay at home:
- Have traveled internationally including the United States or outside of the Province of Manitoba within the past 14 days
- Have had close contact with someone who has traveled internationally including the United States or outside of the Province of Manitoba within the past 14 days
- Have come into contact with someone who has or is suspected of having coronavirus
- Have been exposed to laboratory specimens of people who may have been infected with COVID-19
- Have signs/symptoms of cold/flu including cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, weakness, or headache

If you have concerns about your symptoms, travel history or self-isolation please visit the Health Links – Info Santé online tool. https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/   This tool will give you up to date information on how to care for yourself, prevent spreading possible infection to others and when to call Health Links - Info Santé for more help and information (204-788-8200 or toll-free at 1-888-315-9257).

We ask that you limit the number of people who come with you to the Centre to (1) one support person, if necessary, as we currently have space restrictions due to social distancing recommendations. We would like to prioritize the seats in our waiting room for those accessing care.

All in person group programming has been suspended or has been moved to a virtual format. Please call Youville if you have any questions about what programs are running.


Youville Diabetes Centre:    33 Marion St.

Currently Youville Diabetes Centre (St. Boniface site) has moved all services to virtual and phone visits and will be strictly limiting in-person appointments based on assessed need.

Please call us if you have any questions about the status of appointments at (204) 223-0262.
